Comet BEAT® is a boundary element method (BEM) based program for the acoustic analysis of fluids and fluid-structure interactions. This primary module of COMET is used to analyze noise fields within enclosures such as automotive interiors and evaluate acoustic performance of products that radiate noise. BEAT consists of many advanced features that are useful in evaluating and improving the acoustic performance of products in many industries. |

Features · Uncoupled acoustic analysis · Coupled structural, acoustic analysis · Exterior (radiation) and Interior (within enclosures) analyses · Rayleigh integral method · Panel Acoustic Contribution Analysis for intuitive interior noise reduction
· Acoustic sensitivity analysis for design optimization
· Regularization methods for unique radiation analysis results - CHIEF, Super CHIEF for direct BEM - UNIQUE for indirect BEM
· Ability to handle viscous and damping acoustic domains |
